BrightWorks 2024-25 Education Policy Fellowship
The application for the 2025-2026 cohort will open in March 2025.
The Minnesota Education Policy Fellowship is a joint venture of BrightWorks and Lakes Country Service Cooperative in collaboration with the Center for Policy Design. Over the past 47 years, the Fellowship has created a unique public policy network consisting of over 600 Fellows, sponsors, and guests. This Fellowship focuses on state and federal public policy development and the leadership that is necessary to influence policies that will make a positive impact on the educational experiences of Minnesota’s students. This year-long fellowship features monthly seminars (in-person and virtual), a day at the Minnesota Capitol, and a Washington DC Policy Experience. District and school leaders, educators, and school board members are invited to apply.

Continuous Improvement
Continuous school improvement planning, development, implementation and monitoring is a cyclical, system-wide process that supports a systems perspective to maintaining district and school wide goal alignment.
MN ELA Standards
Assistance in facilitation of processes and/or coaching working teams is available through BrightWorks.
Networks
BrightWorks offers network members time to meet on a monthly basis or bi-monthly basis. Each network was created in response to requests from member district staff. The meetings focus on the following pre-identified areas.
PBIS

BrightWorks Membership
Active membership in BrightWorks is open to each public school district which has chosen to join the cooperative by paying the appropriate membership fees. With membership districts can participate and vote in the governance of the co-op.
