BrightWorks ParaEducator courses & Testing

ParaEducator is an online platform for paraprofessionals, featuring over 100 work related courses and assessments that can be completed to be considered "highly qualified."

To complete the assessment to be considered “highly qualified,” paraprofessionals should make sure they complete the “highly qualified courses and assessments,” and complete the assessment in person at BrightWorks on their designated date and time, as the assessment must be proctored. Assessments are completed on an in-person, individual basis, by appointment only.

Find more information about it on the ParaEducator Courses & Testing page.

BrightWorks's ParaPro Assessment Examination Site

BrightWorks, through a joint venture with Educational Testing Service (ETS), is pleased to be named as an administration and exam site for the ParaPro Assessment Examination. The ParaPro Assessment Exam has been approved for use in Minnesota as a way for current or aspiring paraprofessionals to demonstrate competencies in reading, math and writing as required under the No Child Left Behind Act of 2002.

Find more information about it on the ParaPro Assessment Exam page.
