Continuous Improvement
Overview
Continuous school improvement planning, development, implementation and monitoring is a cyclical, system-wide process that supports a systems perspective to maintaining district and school wide goal alignment. This cycle enhances organizational and performance practices, capabilities and results. It also helps to facilitate communication and sharing of best practices among staff across schools and serves as a working tool for understanding and managing performance and for guiding organization planning and opportunities for learning.
BrightWorks Regional Education Specialists have developed a framework based on current research to assist districts and schools in building internal capacity for all aspects of continuous school improvement including the development of a quality improvement plan.
